
I completed it in a little less than two months, and then I immediately started a new project, and so forth. It was 2003, and I sat down and I wrote my first novel. When I sat down to start writing many years later, obviously I didn’t start when I was 12, just had the belief. It was firm in my mind when I was very young, and it stayed with me the entirety of my life, I’ve been very lucky about that.

But, for me, I knew I wanted to be a romance novelist when I was 12. It’s one of those things you will never forget. Let’s go back to the beginning, your roots are obviously in romance, can you tell us a bit about how you got started with romance writing, and how you got that first break as far as becoming a published author.
